One more Disney stamp (there are four altogether to this point), on a souvenir sheet. Unlike the previous stamp, which is actually rather charming, this one is not so nice. The artist flubbed the pipe, with its three drones of equal length and with Mickey's right hand on top. The rodent seems to be grimacing and Pluto (the dog) is wearing ear-muffs, while the note floating by his head is jagged. Maybe the trouble is that Mickey Mouse has only three fingers on each hand, or maybe it's an artist who just doesn't like pipes. To add injury to insult, this was a rather expensive stamp. |
